STONE MOUNTAIN PARK
It's very early on this Saturday morning ( 3:00 am ) it was time to get ready for this long day ahead of us. Our ( church family ) had to meet up at 5:00 am at the church so we could all arrive at Stone Mountain Park at the same time. As we were leaving, we made sure all the vehicles were gassed up. LaTasha ( Auntie ) had gave me a banana to put on my stomach. Little did she knew I've already had one so, I stuff the one she gave me in my bag just in case it was needed. Finally, I see this huge mountain staring at me in the face. Lord it was so huge! It was so close seems like it was coming right at me! All the kids were getting excited including myself. After we all parked, I pulled out my vlogging camera of course and vlog my first clip. By the way, it was so cold! We didn't expect that one but lucky me, I brought my blanket for other reasons. I quickly got it and threw it across my shoulders ( ha ha ) YES, I'm good now! As we was walking closer to the starter point of the mountain, some of us made sure to take a quick restroom break. Afterwards, we we’re all ready to walk up this huge mountain. It was our mention to make it all the way to the top. Let me tell you, it was very hard for some of us and I was included for sure! Out of breath huffing and puffing like I was running a marathon race. This really told on me how I needed to get in shape. My neice ( Anquieca ) was trying to make it with her two kids. God worked in her favor, Ken ( my hubby ) came to her rescue and grabbed both her kids and went up the mountain like he's a super hero. The view was awesome, it didn't seem like we where that high up. I guess because there was so many trees surrounding us.
